Following a long history of mental illness, Aimée almost took her life on the bridge beside her house in 2017. Her life was saved by a helpline volunteer, and her beautiful dog Aura.
Since then, Aimée has been on a mission to provide access to preventative care for the 2 in 3 individuals who are suffering from a mental illness but will never seek help. She is determined to stop anyone else from walking up onto a bridge like she did.
As a social entrepreneur, Aimee is leveraging Tech-For-Good to destigmatize mental unwellness and to empower people with the tools they need to regain control over their wellbeing.
Aimee is also the co-founder of the largest umbrella mental health network in response to the COVID Pandemic in America and assisted in developing the technology to support individuals in accessing crisis care during this uncertain time.
She is also the co-chairwoman of the Irish Graduate's Network and an active participant in the Family Business Network.
Having been recognised as one of the 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs in Ireland and one of the 20 women to watch in 2020, Aimee is also one of only two women selected as the top 50 young Irish to watch in 2021 (Irish Times 50 People to Watch in 2021).
