Using Mandy's pioneering model of ‘care to break the mould in addiction’ treatment, Charter has earned itself a solid reputation for clinical excellence, sustaining recovery outcomes successfully while treating addiction solely in an outpatient setting. Having come into recovery herself in 1990, Mandy combines her own personal and clinical experiences, making her a highly respected and established clinician.

Early 2019 saw Mandy release her first book, ‘Proactive Parenting; a guide on how to help children conquer self-destructive behaviour and build self-esteem.’

Mandy Saligari’s cult hit show 'In Therapy', saw her offer one on one therapy to the UK’s most papped celebrities, including Danniella Westbrook, Kerry Katona and Gemma Collins. In this she explores every aspect of their past, from troubled childhoods to love affairs.

Mandy also fronted the successful documentary series ‘Violent Child, Desperate Parents’, which looked at the UK’s most violent and difficult children, trying to understand why their behaviour was so extreme and helping them deal with it. Mandy’s approach is to repair the family relationship - believing the problem does not lie solely with the children, but within the family dynamics in which they grow up.

On the BBC’s hit documentary Professor Green: Is it Time to Legalise Weed? Mandy helped Professor Green understand the root cause of his own addiction, and whether addiction is a valid enough reason Weed should not be legalised.

She is a regular feature on ITV’s This Morning.

With 20 year’s experience, Mandy is a highly respected and established expert in her field. She has an innate passion for helping people live healthy, happy, addiction-free lives, as well as preventing addiction running through families and society.

Mandy regularly gives talks and tailors these to captivate her audience, whether they’re a brand, corporate company in the city or an assembly hall filled with secondary school children.
