Marcia O'Connor

What inspired Marcia to take a leap? It was a simple question from her son, who longed to spend more time with her. This turning point led her to found The O’Connor Group just six months later.

The O'Connor group is dedicated to using human resources and customised solutions to fuel company's growth. Marcia’s journey is all the more impressive given her humble beginnings and first-hand experience with cancer, addiction, and adversity. However, she refused to let these challenges define her, using them as motivation to become the person she wanted to be. As a creator and builder, Marcia recently founded the non-profit ShadowHer.org, which helps entrepreneurs of all genders realise their potential and build profitable businesses.

Marcia’s passion is to inspire others to see that they too can achieve greatness. Her story shows that anyone can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams with hope, perseverance, and grit. Through her journey, she teaches us that we all have the ability to transform our lives and inspire others, regardless of where we come from.
