Mayor of London and acclaimed after dinner speaker Boris Johnson; Sir Richard Lambert, former Director-General at CBI and Lord Peter Mandelson, chairman of the Global Council, are amongst speakers at The Times CEO Summit.
Alongside David Cameron, Ed Miliband and other politicians and executives of the highest calibre, the inspirational personalities gathered to tackle the key proposals they want Government to implement to stimulate economic growth.
Business leaders at the summit called on the Government to set tough new standards for basic skills, fast-track the construction of power plants and boost business start-ups to galvanise growth. In a letter addressed to George Osborne, Summit delegates said that Britain needs to do more to live up to its full promise as the business centre of the world.
