Game of Thrones: Palace vs. the House of the Red Devils in The FA Cup

20 May 2016

It’s the 135th staging of FA Cup Final tomorrow with Manchester United playing Crystal Palace at London’s coliseum Wembley Stadium.

In comparison with other competitions, The FA Cup still provides a sense of sporting  drama in being the culmination of a knockout competition and battle between clubs belonging to The Football Association. It means clubs in lower divisions like Hereford United and Luton get to play Premiership teams like Liverpool and Arsenal.

The Cup Final commences at 5.30pm on Saturday the 21st May in North London with each team eager to prove something in a win. For Crystal Palace, although finalists in 1990, they have never won any silverware in their history and for Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United, a much-needed win for him after a season of seen and unseen forces challenging his position at the club.

Match attendance is expected to be more than 57,500 and TV coverage is provided by the BBC, from 4.15pm with a fully dressed Gary Lineker  presenting.
