Business speaker and former Director General of the BBC, Greg Dyke is set to become the new chairman of the Football Association.
Greg, who has also chaired the British Film Institute, has been unanimously approved by the FA to take over from David Bernstein when he leaves the post in July. He will be expected to engage with all the stakeholders in order to get them to work together and make positive changes to the FA.
A statement was released saying "Dyke, 65, will take over as chairman from David Bernstein when he leaves the post after two-and-a-half years in July - subject to approval by the FA council. The appointment will take effect from Saturday, July 13.”
