London Cocktail Week 2015

6 October 2015

In Event News:

Clashing somewhat with the Go Sober for October campaign, London Cocktail Week kicked off in Old Spitalfields Market last night with a ‘pop up’ village selling a dizzying and iridescent range of alcoholic mixed drinks.

Devised by Drink Up London - an organisation dedicated to putting three week long festivals around the aforementioned cocktails, wine and beer - guests can pick up wristbands, a guide and then get lost on London’s streets trying out different cocktails at the 275 participating venues (each selling cocktails for £5 each).

Speaking to Events Magazine, festival director Siobhan Payne said “Having hit record numbers in 2014 with more than 22,000 guests attending the festival, we knew that London Cocktail Week was ready to move to an ever bigger home. The London Cocktail Week Village in Old Spitalfields Market and the much bigger World Class London Cocktail Week Hub in Soho is definitely going to take the festival to that next level."

The festival continues to this Sunday the 11 October and details can be found here at the official London Cocktail Week website .
