Sir Clive Woodward, who left Southampton football club last week to set up his own sports consultancy, will be employed full time to oversee the elite performances of all aspects of the British Olympic Association.
He will be involved in the Summer Beijing Olympics of 2008, the Winter Olympic Games of Vancouver in 2010 and culminating in the London Olympics 2012, where his preparation of the Olympic team hopefully inspires the athletes to great success. He will work alongside the elite coaches and athletes as well as UK sport and governing bodies to ensure that the performance of Team GB is maximised in the years ahead.
