Southbank Hosts First Freerunning Show

19 May 2011

With breathtaking views of London’s skyline as a backdrop, the Southbank Centre is the perfect venue for the UK's first ever stage show featuring the explosive sport of freerunning (parkour). Sébastien Foucan  is the founder and global ambassador for Freerunning.  An inspiring and motivational speaker, Sébastien’s sport will set alight the walkway along the Thames, where tourists and fans will discover and enjoy the visually thrilling spectacle.

The Southbank Centre has been a long-standing stage for BMX bikers and skateboarders, and at the E4 Udderbelly festival, from the 16th – 26th May, the parkour team 3RUN will create a headlining stir.

3RUN are not only the UK's No 1 free running team, but also multi-Guiness World Record holders (all 15 of them). Using the urban landscape quite literally as their springboard, their fearless and breathtkaing scaling of anything in their way is an awe-inspiring spectacle.

The show will form part of the Royal Festival Hall's 60 years celebration.
