Olympic gold winner and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Denise Lewis OBE is a fiercely motivated TV sports presenter. An ambassador for the young, Denise is considered to be one of the UK’s most successful female athletes and her achievements are hailed worldwide. Her charismatic personality has helped her to achieve fame beyond her sporting career and she is now available as a corporate host.

Denise Lewis OBE is an Olympic Athlete and sports TV presenter; she is a charismatic and accomplished corporate host suitable for a range of events.

Watching athletes such as Sebastian Coe and Daley Thompson as she grew up, Denise harboured dreams of winning an Olympic Gold. Inspired by the Moscow Olympics in 1980, she prepared to make her dreams reality.

Denise was a talented all-rounder and excelled in heptathlon. By 1994 she had already won Gold at the Commonwealth Games in Canada. Two years later at the Atlanta Olympic Games, Denis achieved a Bronze medal, breaking the British heptathlon record and also becoming the only British female athlete to win a medal in the 1996 Olympics. After winning her Bronze medal, Denise was runner up in BBC Sports Personality of the Year and was awarded and MBE for her achievements.

In 2000, Denise showcased her incredible talent to the world when she won Gold at the Olympic Games in Sydney and her lifelong dream had become a reality. Denise’s achievement was recognized by the Queen who honoured her was an OBE in 2001 and she came second to Sir Steve Redgrave in Sports Personality of the Year.

Since her Olympic success, Denise has had a successful career as TV pundit, covering athletes for the BBC and she has also presented live from events including the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games both in London 2012 and Rio 2016. Her popularity soared when she took part in the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, where she impressed the judges and the audience week after week. Denise reached the final and was second to TV presenter Jill Halfpenny. In 2009 Denise was involved in Let’s Dance for Comic Relief.

More recently, she took part in ITV's Don't Rock the Boat which hit our screens in November 2020, and is currently a brand ambassador for Next where she is collaborated with them on her activewear range in 2021.

Denise hopes to inspire young people in the same way that Sebastian Coe and Daley Thompson inspired her and is therefore an Ambassador for children’s charities including the Youth Sports Trust and International Inspirations. She also works closely with Breast Cancer Care and Sparks, whilst also being the President of Commonwealth Games England.

Denise is considered to be one of the UK’s most successful female athletes and her achievements are known all over the world. Her charismatic personality has helped her to achieve fame beyond her sporting career and she is now available as a motivational speaker and corporate host.
