Originally from Canada and star of BBC’s Live at the Apollo QI, ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show and Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Katherine Ryan is a writer/performer and stand-up who is taking the UK television and live comedy scenes by storm.

Katherine starred in Sky One's flagship music and comedy entertainment series Bring the Noise alongside Tinie Tempah, Nicole Scherzinger and Ricky Wilson, it was a bold and exciting series with unmissable live musical performances and fun collaborations.

The razor sharp and top of her game star returned to the Edinburgh Festival in 2015 with her eagerly awaited, brand new show Kathbum after runs at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Just For LaughtsFestival in Montreal in 2015 followed by the prestigious Oddball Festival where she performed in Toronto alongside Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer.

The brash, almost shrill, Katherine Ryan may be from Canada, but owes her perky persona to West Coast America. She gossips animatedly, her bubbly banter dripping with ‘Oh my god!’s and a deliberately exaggerated girlish laugh that accompanies every punchline.
