Sam lives by the mantra that businesses should disregard results and achievements, and focus on what really matters – our purpose. He empowers young people through Livity, a youth-led creative network.
Having spent over two decades creating a platform for brands to meet unlikely entrepreneurs, Sam has brought together the bright but disengaged youth with some of the globe’s biggest businesses to make their dreams become realities. He has helped former drug dealers become entrepreneurs and refugees become United Nations Ambassadors.
On the other side of the token, he has begun to educate businesses that understanding what matters to a young audience is what is truly important. Using Livity to match young creatives with their next exciting adventure, Sam is changing the way we think about business.
Sam has also started Livity Africa, the NGO sister business operating across South Africa and the BAFTA winning agency Don’t Panic. If this wasn’t all enough, Sam is also an author. His book ‘Be More Pirate’ inspires a mindset, asking us all to look back at the Golden age of eighteenth-century pirates to led us to the future. As the trailblazers of their time, Sam writes and talks about how the pirate mentality can be used a s a blueprint for our own personal ambitions, adventures and enterprises.
A compassionate speaker, who offers companies a progressive push with his infectious energy, Sam’s unique outlook and ability to actually make a positive impact helps to make the world a better place.
