A Nigerian-Geordie with a Cambridge degree, Vick is a multi-lingual TV and radio presenter, journalist, published author, activist and podcaster who is a multifaceted young presenter making waves in the multi-platform world of broadcast from MTV News, ITN, and Capital FM alongside being a tireless human rights activist and campaigner.

Vick’s career began at the age of 19, when she spent a year living in Buenos Aires, covering Latin American current affairs, arts and culture for The Argentina Independent as their youngest ever journalist. She also wrote for The Argentimes and Time Out Buenos Aires, and it was here that she was snapped up by MTV, beginning her presenting career on entertainment shows for their international channels.

Experience gained reporting for MTV News brought her to the attention of ITN, where she’s quickly made her mark as a popular on-screen news and entertainment broadcaster. Vick went on to become a mainstay reporter for ITN, where she produced, scripts, edits and presented news and entertainment bulletins, reaching an audience of 4.3million a week across ITV2, 3 and 4.

Vick can now be found presenting London’s biggest breakfast show on Capital FM with Roman Kemp every morning, and also 4Musics Trending Live. Vick narrated the most recent series of the reality show Shipwrecked on E4.

She ​won the Broadcast Powerhouse Award at the Marie Claire Future Shapers Awards in 2017 (and regularly writes columns for the mag), TRIC Award for Best Radio Show in 2018, and the BBC Award for Best Factual Entertainment for her documentary That’s Not Me at Visions Film Festival.

She has appeared as a guest on various podcasts such as; Freya Lingerie’s ​When life gives you Melons​, Jamie Laings ​Private Parts, ​and The Resilience Sessions Podcast, ​as well as hosting ​The Beauty Of It All ​(which was number 1 in the Fashion & Beauty charts), exploring issues in the health & beauty industry.
This year, she joins ​The X Factor: Celebrity digital platforms. She will present the Xtra Bites series, sponsored by Just Eat.

Vick is passionate about sports and hosts ​Yahoo Sport Presents…Tailgate. ​She has also been confirmed to be on the Young SPOTY panel to select the Young Sports Personality of the Year.

She also presented ​Sky One’s Carnage (alongside Freddie Flintoff & Lethal Bizzle), Sky Arts’ Art50: The British (alongside Stephen Mangan), Sky One’s festival coverage (alongside Edith Bowman & Joel Dommett), Channel 4’s Chase Tag World Championships, and Red Bull Soapbox Race on Dave Channel.

Furthermore, she co-authored the children’s book “Listen Up: Rule the Airwaves, Rule the School” and she was a contestant on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing. She is also a brand ambassador for Matalan and has worked on campaigns for Neutrogena and V05.

Alongside all her media work, Vick is a tireless human rights activist and campaigner. Last year Vick MC-ed at the Women’s March, an event she described as one of her proudest moments. She is an official Amnesty International Ambassador and has supported Amnesty campaigns to include: Women Breaking Barriers and the passing of the Domestic Abuse bill in parliament. She volunteers at a weekly refugee project, working with children from asylum-seeking families with a charity called Akwaaba.
