Marcus Brigstocke, one of the UK’s favourite writers and live comedy performers , is as confident, hilarious and mesmerising on stage as he is on screen.

Always a comedian at heart, Marcus only took to the stage during his time at university, and soon took the Bristol comedy scene by storm. Winning the BBC New Comedian award in 1996, and taking his show to the Edinburgh Fringe for the first time, Marcus could not have known that he would be selling out at the iconic festival, every year thereafter.

Showered with critical acclaim, Marcus’ 2006 show 'Planet Corduroy' stunned his fans, which he followed with the Early Edition, and eventually the revered Late Edition -  Marcus's own live topical show on BBC4.

Already an experienced TV comedy force, Marcus starred with Jack Dee in Live from the Apollo; The A-Z of

In 2006 Marcus gave himself four weeks to learn a new language for Excuse My French – where he performed to French crowds in their own tongue, in one of the most terrifying episodes of his career!

Marcus has written 3 series of Giles Wemmbley-Hogg Goes Off, as well as The Museum Of Everything, as well as appearing on radio classics Just a Minute; Newsquiz; The Today Program and The Unbelievable Truth.

A regular on panel shows such as Have I Got News for You, QI and Would I Lie to You, Marcus is a familiar face on UK  television .

In movies Marcus appeared as a DJ in Richard Curtis' Love Actually, and alongside Kevin Spacey in Beyond The Sea - the life story of Bobby Darin.

He is committed to non-violence and is an active campaigner for CND and 'Campaign Against Arms Trade'.

As a performer, Marcus Brigstocke makes for a great comedian for corporate audiences.
