Wired: The Next Generation

Future, Technology  and Culture magazine, Wired, continues its events programme with the fifth installment of its main annual event: Wired 2015. Starting yesterday, it’s into its second day over at London's Tobacco Dock with an exciting day of discussion around Food Innovation, Start-ups With Impact and Digital Activism.

This section of the event finishes today with tomorrow sees the return of its partner event: WIRED2015: NEXT GENERATION which, as the title suggests, is an event ‘dedicated to inspiring young minds’. Running all day on Saturday the event is aimed at 11-18 year olds who will be able to experience the same kind of format and activities seen in the previous two days.

Speakers confirmed for this year’s event include: Lego game-maker, Mark Warburton; European Space Agency scientist, Mark McCaughrean; winners from Google’s Science Fair: Ciara Judge and Emer Hickey and human rights speraker and author, Hyeonseo Lee, who’s been a major hit at the current two day conference detailing her escape from North Korea.
