Russell Kane Hosts 'Live at the Electric'

Stand up comedian  and awards host , Russell Kane will host the second series of ‘Live at the Electric’, a BBC Three show celebrating the UK’s emerging comedy scene.

The show will exhibit the up and coming comedians through sketch, stand-up, short film and music, with Russell writing and starring in his own sketches. One of his sketches is called ‘The Only Way is Shakespeare” and will be performed in only Shakespearean blank verse.

The new acts that will be appearing at ‘Live at the Electric’ include the winner of the 2012 BBC Radio New Comedy Award, Lucy Beaumont and Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Marcel Lucont. Other popular acts that will be returning are Wittank, Totally Tom and Two Episodes of Mash.
