Steve Black Believes Jonny Wilkinson Has What It Takes

Steve Black, keynote speaker  and Jonny Wilkinson’s coach for 15 years, believes Wilkinson has what it takes to become a great coach.

Wilkinson, who has retired from international rugby, is currently concentrating on his club rugby career.

Black is looking at what the future holds for Wilkinson stating that, “He has always been a student of the game, he has so many great ideas and I doubt many people know more about the psychological and physical preparation a team need.”

Having coached Wilkinson for 15 years, Black is aware of Wilkinson’s strengths and weaknesses and he believes that Wilkinson will “blossom” during his final years in the club game before offering his wealth of expertise in management.

Black added “In my opinion he has all the attributes to become a superb coach”.
