Television presenter Holly Willoughby has landed first acting role in 10 years
Television presenter and host of Dancing on Ice and This Morning, Holly Willoughby is a huge fan of Miss Marples and Agatha Christie whodunnits. Holly has landed a part in a drama called The Pale Horse as a birthday surprise. It is her first acting role for 10 years.
ITV's This Morning production team worked with the producers of the drama to surprise Holly with her guest role.
She will be playing the 17th century witch Goody Carne who appears in the film when Miss Marple (Julia McKenzie) attends a ritual burning in her memory.
Other well-known actors are also amongst the cast including Nicholas Parsons, Holly Valance, Nigel Planer and Sarah Alexander.
Holly is thrilled to be appearing in the film as it has been a lifelong ambition of hers.
