Tess Daly and Terry Wogan to host Children in Need night 2010

19 November 2010

Children in Need takes over BBC One again tonight with another spectacular live appeal show with a variety of entertainment acts, all doing their bit to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Sir Terry Wogan and Tess Daly  will once again host the seven hour marathon show broadcast live from BBC Television Centre, featuring some of the UK's top TV, musical and theatrical personalities and acts.

Some of tonight’s highlights include a live performance from JLS of the official BBC Children in Need single, Love You More, a special episode of Coronation Street and Eastenders where members of each cast visit the other set, Take That will perform their new single, 'The Flood', and in a BBC Children in Need exclusive, will sing one of their classic hits live for the first time since regrouping.

There will be a sneak preview of the Doctor Who Christmas special, a dance off edition of Strictly Come Dancing, where Rochelle from The Saturdays will take on Harry Judd from McFly. There will also be additional live performances from Cheryl Cole, Alexandra Burke, Westlife, The Script, The Saturdays, Ellie Goulding and Maroon 5.

The Saturdays and Only Men Aloud will be brightening up BBC Children in Need in Wales, to celebrate a very special BBC Children in Need night live from Wales's Millennium Stadium. The half-time performance, presented by The One Show's Alex Jones, will see The Saturdays and all-male choir Only Men Aloud wowing the crowds during half time of the autumn international rugby match Wales v Fiji.

Don’t forget, as has become tradition, there will also be a very special performance from the BBC Newsreaders.

The show starts at 7pm tonight on BBC One.
