Jeff Innocent is an accomplished standup comedian, actor, writer and cultural commentator. He has been in the business for 15 years and still remains a favourite among audiences and his peers. Jeff is also a sought after corporate entertainer.

He is described by The Guardian as a comedian with, 'The body of a nightclub bouncer and the brain of a university boffin.' In his stand-up acts he mixes his East end geezer appearance with his educated, philosophical delivery and subject matter.

So far as a comedian, Jeff has taken his one man show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and he performs regularly not just on the UK comedy circuit but in countries as diverse as India, Singapore and Dubai.

His acting credits include feature films, historical drama, children's TV and he recently appeared in the popular BBC series, 'Call the Midwife'. He has also appeared on radio shows such as 'Stand up On 2' on BBC Radio Two, 'The Richard Bacon Show' on BBC Radio 5 Live and 'The Phil Jupitas Show' on BBC London.

Jeff has also written for numerous publications and websites including The Independent and The Ecologist. He writes on a wide range of subjects such as the history of London, environmental issues and youth sub cultures.

Currently, Jeff is performing in a UK tour with his show ‘Comedy for Grown Ups’ and writing a new one-man show for 2014 entitled, ‘Jeff’s innocent guide to growing old in the 21st Century’. He will also be appearing in a movie called ‘The Comedy Store, Raw and Uncut.’
