The UK’s leading expert on curriculum and literacy in schools, Mary Myatt is an education advisor and writer. She founded the online platform Myatt & Co and the Huh Academy, along with being a patron of CAPE (Climate Adapted Pathways for Education), a trustee for a Multi Academy Trust and a former governor in three schools, Mary is an industry leader.
Education adviser, writer and keynote speaker, Mary Myatt trained as an RE teacher, a former local authority advisor and inspector.
She’s the UK leading expert in engaging pupils, teachers and leaders about learning, leadership and the curriculum.
An extensive writer on leadership, school improvement and the curriculum, Mary’s most recent work focuses on the Huh Curriculum series for primary, secondary, SEND and Alternative Provision with John Tomsett.
Mary is the Founder of Myatt & Co, an online platform with films for ongoing professional development, featuring the popular Primary Subject Networks and Secondary Subject Networks. In response to the demand for ongoing curriculum and leadership development, Mary’s also set up the Huh Academy.
Alongside Myatt & Co and the Huh Academy, Mary’s developed The Teachers’ Collection, an online resource for teachers that supports curriculum planning. This was underpinned by the findings from the ‘Faster Read’ research from the University of Sussex.
