As a Cultural Architect, Javier helps organisations and cities change old habits, allowing their strategies to work. With both theoretical and practical understanding of what makes people engage and behave in certain ways, Javier creates award-winning interventions that produce change in record times.
In 1998 Javier, who started out at Accenture, became the Founding CEO of The Talent Foundation, the international network of businesses and academia created to find concrete answers to the challenge of unlocking Human Talent in a limited timeframe.
He went on to cofound WFP to develop practical applications around those findings, and Project Red Stripe for The Economist.
Javier holds a PhD in the area of Behavioural Change and an MSc in Neurosciences.
Javier believes that engaging people to work together and create sustainable value should take months, not years. He works with Boards of global organisations and city governments, and has been instrumental in some of the world’s largest mergers, bringing people together as a priority above technology.
He frequently addresses international conferences and collaborates with the media, and is a member of the Editorial Board of Strategic HR Review.
