Luciana Berger is a former MP, now member of the House of Lords, business advisor and leading voice on mental health, leadership and resilience.

Luciana Berger is an engaging commentator, accomplished leader and experienced speaker, covering subjects ranging from politics and public affairs to mental health and overcoming adversity.

She served as the Member of Parliament for Liverpool Wavertree for nearly a decade, holding a number of frontbench positions including the UK’s first ever Shadow Cabinet Minister for Mental Health. In 2025, she was elevated to the House of Lords in recognition of her contribution to public life.

Alongside her parliamentary career, Luciana has held senior positions across business and communications, including roles with Accenture, the NHS Confederation, Edelman and iNHouse Communications. Today, she advises gs8, a leading regenerative UK housebuilder, and serves on the advisory board of the Waverly Group, a private investment and business-building firm.

Luciana also plays an active role in shaping policy and advocacy around health and wellbeing. She chairs the Maternal Mental Health Alliance, serves on the advisory board of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, and is Vice President of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Jewish Leadership Council.
