Dr Tobias Gantner, founder of The HealthCare Futurists, is a physician, health economist, and innovation leader advising globally on the future of healthcare, medicine, and life sciences.

Dr Tobias Gantner is a medical doctor, health economist, and jurist whose career bridges clinical practice, global healthcare strategy, and innovation leadership. With senior roles at Siemens, Novartis, Bayer Healthcare, and Johnson & Johnson, he has led work in market access, health economics, and policy, combining deep industry expertise with a passion for reimagining the future of healthcare.

Following his vision for a more innovative and patient-centred system, Tobias founded The HealthCare Futurists; an independent international network, think tank, incubator, and consulting hub dedicated to driving transformation across healthcare, life sciences, and medicine. His work connects entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers to explore new ideas and bring them to life.

A respected academic, Tobias holds appointments at the Universities of Cologne and Duisburg, and is Director of the European Center for Patient Centric Innovation and Medical Entrepreneurship at the WHO University in Maastricht, affiliated with the European Business School Oestrich-Winkel. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the European Connected Health Alliance and is a member of SCIANA, the Health Leaders Network.
