Christina Farr joined OMERS Ventures in 2020 as a Principal, where she focuses on driving innovation in the healthtech sector from the Bay Area. With deep expertise in behavioural health, telemedicine, electronic medical records, and women’s health, she works closely with entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of healthcare.

Before moving into venture capital, Chrissy spent over a decade as an award-winning journalist, writing for some of the world’s most respected publications including CNBC, Fast Company, and Reuters News. She was also a regular on-air contributor, known for her ability to break down complex topics into engaging, accessible stories.

Raised in London, Chrissy brings a global perspective to her work, blending her UK roots with her experience in Silicon Valley. She holds graduate degrees from University College London and Stanford University, and combines sharp analytical insight with a genuine passion for supporting visionary founders and helping their ideas thrive.
