Will started his career at Mars Inc, where he performed a variety of marketing roles across Europe. In 1999 he joined web-publishing pioneer Moonfruit as Marketing Director, and helped Moonfruit become recognised as an ‘e-Superbrand’ of the early dotcom revolution. Following the 2001 crash, Will joined consultancy OxfordSM, leading marketing strategy and internal change projects for GSK, M&S, Lloyds TSB and Unilever.

In 2008, Will joined Unilever as VP Marketing Strategy. Reporting to Unilever’s CMO, he developed Unilever’s global marketing strategy, and subsequently led the rollout of Unilever’s ‘Crafting Brands for Life’ Way of Marketing - designed to inspire and enable Unilever’s 6,000 marketers to bring purpose to their brands and achieve digital excellence.

In 2014, Will was seconded by Unilever to found and lead Collectively, a digital media and collaboration platform created to accelerate the shift to sustainable ways of consumption. Originating in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Collectively successfully partnered with more than thirty multinational companies including Unilever, Google, Facebook, Coca-Cola, M&S and BT, and a wide network of NGOs and social entrepreneurs.

Between 2011 and 2017 Will was a non-exec Director on the board of Sightsavers, the international eye health NGO.

His breadth of experience, from digital start-ups to major multinationals, across industry sectors and NGOs, as a consultant and business leader, gives him a rare ability to ‘join the dots’ in a fast-changing world and help clients grow their organisations by doing good.

Will’s keynotes address topics including; The Power of Purposeful Business, How to Do Well by Doing Good and Business’s Big Shift: from self-interest to common interest.
