I started working at Speakers Corner a very long time ago now and I am in the unique position of having done every job in the company.
Starting out in Account Management, I spent two happy years finding the right speakers for client's events. After returning from maternity leave for the first time, I slotted into the Logistics Team, followed by another unexpected period of maternity leave!
I eventually joined the Content team and am responsible for a lot of the Q&As you can read on our website. I have also been known to chase money for the Accounts team when someone is on holiday, so I really can do every job!
Now my babies are bit more grown up, I have come back to work properly as Nick’s assistant and office manager. I spend most of my time juggling meetings around, restocking tea and coffees, and researching venues for events.
My time out of the office is mainly spent with my family. I try to do the school run as often as I can and, on a Friday, I can usually be found hiding in a soft play centre while my youngest wears himself out.
I’m a bit of a sun worshipper so I’m usually planning my next trip to sunnier climes. There is not much that makes me happier than laying on a sunlounger with a cocktail in hand!
