As a languages graduate, I’ve always had an international outlook and I’m fascinated by different cultures and their perspectives on the world. This means that Speakers Corner is a perfect fit for me as I get to learn about interesting people from all sorts of backgrounds every day.
I lived in Paris for a year as part of my degree. When I wasn’t eating croissants, cycling along the Seine or living up to any number of other French stereotypes, I was working in a small office pairing English language teachers with Parisian families. I then worked with some very cool and techy start-ups. Newly arrived in London, I plan to bring my match-making skills, experience working in small and passionate teams and baked-goods-eating prowess to my account management role at Speakers Corner.
In my spare time, you’ll often find me talking about food (seriously, ask any of my flatmates), seeing friends and family, or dreaming up my next challenge. Having climbed Kilimanjaro and hitchhiked from Scotland to Prague, I am now training for a half-marathon. I am, of course, balancing this out with eating plenty of chocolate and lounging around with a book!
