Future, Technology and Culture magazine, Wired, continues its events programme with the fifth installment of its main annual event: Wired 2015. Starting yesterday, it’s into its second day over at London's Tobacco Dock with an exciting day of discussion around Food Innovation, Start-ups With Impact and Digital Activism.
This section of the event finishes today with tomorrow sees the return of its partner event: WIRED2015: NEXT GENERATION which, as the title suggests, is an event ‘dedicated to inspiring young minds’. Running all day on Saturday the event is aimed at 11-18 year olds who will be able to experience the same kind of format and activities seen in the previous two days.
Speakers confirmed for this year’s event include: Lego game-maker, Mark Warburton; European Space Agency scientist, Mark McCaughrean; winners from Google’s Science Fair: Ciara Judge and Emer Hickey and human rights speraker and author, Hyeonseo Lee, who’s been a major hit at the current two day conference detailing her escape from North Korea.
The full list of speakers can be found at Wired Events website here along with other information surrounding the day.
