His talks and workshops not only debunk the myths, lies and misunderstandings surrounding creativity and innovation, but also present new methodologies, frameworks and practical exercises.  They’re focused on helping companies weave creativity into their culture and show them how to apply it to solve real business problems.

Dave’s approach is aimed at creating far greater levels of staff engagement, a more innovative culture, practical fresh ideas and a strong leadership vision. This can help any company differentiate themselves in a crowded marketplace by offering unique value to their customers.

His energetic and entertaining talks are packed full of stories, case-studies and practical advice, and he is known to involve the audience to illustrate some of his points. He always finishes with tangible take-aways and techniques that the audience can start applying to their own situation immediately.

As a highly respected thinker in the field of creativity and innovation, Dave's opinions have been published in books, magazines and newspapers.

He’s the Editor-at-Large for The Drum - Europe’s most popular marketing website and magazine. In 2012, he published ‘A User Guide to the Creative Mind’, and he currently has several other books in the pipeline.

In 2014, he wrote, directed and presented the television show ‘The Day before Tomorrow’, and he continues to have a high output of creative content, releasing videos, websites and articles on an almost daily basis.

Not able to confine himself to doing just one thing, Dave also hosts the Future of Advertising Podcast where he interviews marketing’s movers and shakers to find out where the future lies for the industry.

He has started an education think-tank for the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising; strives to make the internet dyslexia-friendly; serves as a board adviser for a number of businesses and is starting a couple of internet ventures.

Known for his passion, sense of humour, and ability to explain complicated topics with simplicity, Dave ensures that audiences leave his sessions with new insights into creativity.
