A former lawyer and now prolific legal journalist, Joshua Rozenberg is an excellent keynote speaker, and highly knowledgeable on all topics relating to the field of law, journalism, the media and current affairs.

Joshua QC (hon) is one of Britain's best-known commentators on the law. He is the only full-time journalist to have appointed as Queen's Counsel honoris causa. This highly successful achievement is just one of many accolades accrued in Joshua’s career.

Reading law at Oxford set the tone for Joshua’s early career as he trained as a solicitor upon graduating and qualified in 1976.

Joshua’s intelligence has been hailed across the country as he holds honorary doctorates in law from the University of Hertfordshire, Nottingham Trent University, the University of Lincoln and the University of Law. He is also an honorary Master of the Bench of Gray's Inn.

Joshua worked as the BBC's legal correspondent for 15 years before moving in 2000 to The Daily Telegraph. After resigning as the newspaper's legal editor in the summer of 2007, he continued to write a weekly column for the subsequent year.

Returning to the BBC in 2010, Joshua proceeded to present the popular Radio 4 series Law in Action, a programme he had launched in 1984. Also in 2010, he chaired the Halsbury's Law Exchange, an independent and politically neutral think-tank.

In the same year, he started writing a commentary for the Guardian. He also writes twice a month for the Law Society Gazette and for BBC news online.

Two years later, Joshua was included by The Times in its independently-judged list of the UK's 100 most influential lawyers, the only journalist to feature in the Times Law 100. This profound achievement highlights the great impact Joshua has on both the media and legal spheres.

Known for his intuition, authority and his ability to simplify complex legal issues, Joshua’s natural clarity and wit make him a successful and well-received legal journalist.

A regular face on Sky News, the BBC news channel and other news networks in the UK and the US, Joshua is confident and clear in front of a camera.

Being a well-respected face in the industry, the journalist is often asked to chair or address legal conferences and other corporate events.

Particularly interested in constitutional reform and freedom of expression, Joshua has written well-reviewed book on both topics.

An adept keynote speaker, Joshua can both address an audience and moderate a lively discussion. An expert in the field of law, and legal journalism, Joshua can educate an audience on legal current affairs.

His speaking topics include:

- Freedom of expression

- Legal journalism

- Media Stereotypes and discrimination

- Law in action
