After setting off to travel the Mediterranean as a street magician, fire-eater and phoney fortune-teller, a short spell as a casino croupier in Denmark, he returned to the UK where Paul began performing in summer shows and comedy clubs. He went on to host tours for the British and U.S. Forces in locations as far afield as Gibraltar, Croatia, Bosnia, Belize and the Falkland and Ascension Islands.
