She has inspired a new economy with her critically-acclaimed book What's Mine is Yours: How Collaborative Consumption Is Changing The Way We Live. Putting emphasis on the acceptance of sharing and community-driven marketplaces, Rachel explains how social networking in business services networking. Rachel received her BFA (Honors) from the University of Oxford, and undertook her postgraduate studies at Harvard University. After leaving education, Rachel founded the Collaborative Lab, the leading source of expertise for companies and governments that want to embrace the collaborative economy to revolutionise business and society.

In 2013, Rachel was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, which recognises individuals for their commitment to improving the state of the world, and in 2014 she was named by Fast Company as one of the 'Most Creative People in Business'. Rachel has presented at high profile events including The Clinton Global Initiative, TED, HP, Google, and No.10 Downing Street. If this wasn’t enough, Rachel was nominated for the Thinkers50 2017 awards.

Her thought leadership and writings have appeared in Harvard Business Review, The Economist, CNN, The New York Times, The Guardian, Fast Company among others. Rachel has a monthly future tech trends column in the Australian Financial Review and is a contributing editor to WIRED UK.

Alongside her writing and speaking career, Rachel was also a founding partner in the Collaborative Fund, an early stage investor in disruptive ventures, and a former director at President Clinton's Foundation.
