At the age of 23, Sarah Dodd decided to live her life without regrets. Determined to escape her long family line of drug/alcohol abuse and depression, she worked all the hours she could to become debt free and travel the world. Sarah has since travelled to almost 100 countries, speaking at conferences and sharing her unique cultural experience and passion for sustainability, communication, travel, motivation and marketing.

Sarah Dodd is an inspirational speaker who has travelled to almost 100 countries, sharing her unique cultural experience and passion for sustainability, communication, travel, motivation and marketing with audiences.

Having grown up in a small town in Arkansas, USA, Sarah made it her mission to overcome her long family line of drug/alcohol abuse and depression. Eager to explore the world, she graduated high school one year early and enrolled at university when she turned 17. acquiring a bachelor`s degree in Speech and Communication with Suma Cum Laude Honors.

However as she reached 23 years of age, Sarah found herself working as a licensed nurse but in debt with student loans and interest rates mounting, and materialistic possessions everywhere she looked. Stuck in the routine of life, Sarah became determined to shake off the expectations of a normal life and instead pursue her true dreams.

“I grew up with people constantly pressing upon me a way of life that I felt like was not for me. Graduate high school, go to college, get a job, find a boyfriend, graduate college, get married, buy a house, have kids…”

At that moment Sarah decided that it was more important live without regrets, than losing the approval of others. Sarah developed a plan and, with complete focus, worked every weekend, double and holiday shift in order to become debt free and save in order to make her dream become a reality.

“If I ever heard any nurse on a different shift complaining about even the smallest pain, I would rush over and offer to work their shift in order to send them home and get more hours. “

In June 2013, Sarah was debt free and quit her job to move to Spain despite speaking a single word of Spanish. But, instead of becoming lonely, Sarah threw herself into the Spanish life and culture in her two year spell living in the country and in 2015 she decided that she was ready for her next challenge.

She started traveling full time in 2015 and as of now she has traveled to almost 100 countries around the world, speaking at conferences to companies and individuals through her unique cultural experience and passion for sustainability, communication, travel, motivation and marketing.
