Digital Innovation Awards Nominees: Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Alan Sugar & Michael Acton Smith

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Alan Sugar and Michael Acton Smith all feature on  the shortlist compiled by judges at the Guardian for their Digital Innovation awards 2012.

Michael Acton Smith - CEO, Creative Director and founder of online games studio Mind Candy - publisher of global kids' phenomenon, Moshi Monsters, is nominated in the Tech Guru category; The Way I See It Alan Sugar Hardback Campaign – The world's first Twitter book signing with Lord Sugar’s million plus Twitter followers, has been nominated in the Digital Campaign category, and nominated in the Technology for Social Change category, is Hugh's Fish fight, led by celebrity chef  and campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. The site aims to increase awareness of issues within the fishing industry, gather signatures for the petition to ban discards, and to encourage people to eat a wider variety of fish.
