#NAW2016 aka National Apprenticeship Week 2016

It's National Apprentice Week this week, with the official website, promising ‘to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy’.

Co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, this year’s theme is ‘An apprenticeship can take you anywhere’ with a particular focus on higher skill set roles to illustrate how young people ‘can rise to the top’.

Events will take place around England and Wales this week with pop-up shops, fairs, awards and national conferences taking place. One of which will be the Apprenticeship Conference & Exhibition at Birmingham’s ICC (16-18 March) ran by further education magazine, FE Week, with Emily Maitlis hosting.
