Our July Speakers Round-Up

16 August 2018

We helped deliver over 100 successful events in last month and a few familiar faces kept cropping up. Here is our July speakers round-up.

Bonita Norris

Bonita Norris is not only the youngest British woman to reach the top of Everest; she accomplished her dream with no previous climbing experience. Delighting audiences with her rivetingly rocky journey from a novice climbing wall to 29,029 feet above sea level, her story leaves audiences inspired to overcome their own personal mountains.

"A brilliant speaker who engaged with the audience and had everybody captivated."- Ramblers UK

Akala

Social entrepreneur and MOBO award-winning hip-hop artist Akala engages young audiences worldwide as founder of The Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company through his unique fusion of rap, rock, electro-punk and fierce lyrical storytelling. Like the bard himself, he captivates others with his words, business acumen, and passion for performance.

"Completely engaging, and the breadth and depth of his knowledge was amazing. He was a resounding hit."- Oxford Brookes University

Gervase Phinn

Professor Gervase Phinn taught in a range of schools, before becoming an education adviser and school inspector. He is now a freelance lecturer, broadcaster, writer, comedian and a consultant for the Open University. On the speaking circuit, Gervase blends together tales from his time as an inspector with his natural wit, to make for a charming after-dinner speaker.

Richard Watson

Best-selling author, lecturer and futurist speaker, Richard Watson can inspire audiences with his insightful strategies for the future. An expert at predicting future trends and looking at what customers need, Richard can help your company explore emerging growth opportunities and think through scenarios to help businesses plan effectively. Professional and knowledgeable, Richard is a consummate speaker.

"Richard delivered an interesting, gripping and thought-provoking presentation that was extremely well received by all of our delegates."- St. George Bank Ltd.

Sian Jones

With a background in PR, televison broadcaster Sian Jones is a dynamic and charismatic awards host and conference facilitator. Sian’s warm, upbeat style is energetic and charming, making her an adept conference facilitator and awards host. Professional and understanding, Sian’s versatility and confidence allows her to be a delightful addition to your event.

"Sian's superb input as a facilitator was highly valued. She grasped the concepts discussed easily and added gravitas to the conference."- Eon UK

As the slightly quieter Summer months are coming to a close you would think the phone would stop ringing - but it hasn't! We love hearing the exciting new briefs that come our way, so stay tuned for another round-up at the end of August to see who our most sought-after speakers were.
