The Forum of Young Global Leaders

18 March 2014

Founder and CEO of Little Miss Geek Belinda Parmar , Michael Acton Smith  of Mind Candy and economist Keyu Jin are amongst delegates at this year’s Forum of Young Global Leaders.

Comprised of over 900 diverse and exceptional minds, the Forum of Young Global Leaders is a unique community, where bold, entrepreneurial leaders have committed to making the world a better place, using their extraordinary skills and smart thinking.

The 2014 young global leaders come from 66 countries, and all see themselves as global citizens, after working, studying or living abroad.

A rigorous nomination process enables anyone under the age of 40 to be brought into the limelight – a position always well-deserved and usually studiously eluded in their journeys to serving society at large.

Those included have all achieved success young, and have demonstrated an on-going commitment to serving society, against the backdrop of exceptional leadership skills and experience,  nurturing successful endeavours across private, public and civil society organizations.

Michael Acton Smith is a young and gifted entrepreneur , who founded Firebox and Mind Candy, and created the international phenomenon that is Moshi Monsters; Belinda Parmar is founder and CEO of Lady Geek, a campaigning agency that makes technology and games more accessible to women and girls, and Keyu Jin is a lecturer at the London School of economics  on international macroeconomics, international finance, and the Chinese economy.
