Paul Zerdin

A young comedy ventriloquist with a host of live shows and television behind him, Paul Zerdin is now firmly a hit on the corporate circuit and is perfect for company dinners, product launches and after dinner entertainment.

Paul, along with his variety of sidekicks, has found himself a niche market in performing at corporate events. In particular, with his cheeky chappy Sam, he appeals to all types of audiences and is excellent for an after-dinner cabaret or presenting awards.

Paul was the first ever outright winner of the Big, Big, Talent Show hosted by  Jonathan Ross  on LWT by over 100,000 votes.  His TV debut was as a magician on BBC’s Tricky Business, however within 6 months he appeared as a ventriloquist on Hangar 17 with his first puppet Gus and has not looked back since.

Since then he has appeared on countless TV shows including The World Stands Up (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Show BBC!, Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford (ITV1), Tonight at The London Palladium with Bruce Forsyth and Bradley Walsh (ITV1), Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas Show (BBC1) and three appearances at The Royal Variety Performance. 

Winning Series 10 of America’s Got Talent in September 2015, Paul and his sidekicks soon went viral on YouTube, receiving millions of views from around the world.

With his new puppet Sam, Paul has appeared on countless television programmes – Talking Telephone Numbers, Stand and Deliver, The Freddie Starr Show, Comic Relief, The Big Breakfast, Richard Digance Special, Shirley Bassey’s 60th Tribute and Give Your Mate a Break– to name but a few!

The last few years have been extremely busy for the America’s Got Talent winner, on both sides of the Atlantic. In 2016 Paul headed to The Las Vegas Strip for a headline residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. 2017 and 2018 saw Paul appear on spin-off shows America’s Got Talent – The Champions and Britain’s Got Talent – The Champions. Since then Paul has toured the US and UK with his critically acclaimed ‘All Mouth’ and ‘Puppet Party’ shows.

Paul has literally just finished touring  ‘Paul Zerdin – Hands Free’ in the UK which features brand new animatronics and he is looking forward to taking it to the US in 2022.

Paul also had the honour to be chosen to appear at the Prince’s Trust 21st Birthday Gala in the presence of HRH the Prince of Wales, recorded by Carlton Television at the Opera House, Manchester.

Paul returned to his favourite theatre The London Palladium in his 27th Christmas Variety Season for an incredible run of Pantoland alongside Donnie Osmond and Julian Clarey.

Paul is a Gold Star Member of The Inner Magic Circle and lives with his foam family in South West London.
