Natalie Fee

Natalie Fee is an award-winning environmentalist, sustainability author, keynote speaker, compere and former founder of City to Sea. She now helps organisations engage their teams with sustainability goals and explore how nature connection drives productivity, wellbeing and ESG commitments through her keynote talks and Nature Governance Consultancy.

Natalie has a unique gift for bridging the worlds of environmental action, nature connection and workplace transformation, and after a decade founding and leading City to Sea - one of the UK's leading organisations combating plastic pollution globally - Natalie decided to explore a question that had been quietly building: what happens when we going beyond talking about nature, and commit to rebuilding a relationship with it?

The answer came through a year-long practice of visiting the same oak tree every single day. That practice became the foundation for her new work helping organisations understand how nature connection isn't just good for the planet - it's essential for productivity, creativity, retention and meeting ESG commitments.

Natalie brings over fifteen years' experience as a campaigner, TED speaker, published author, TV presenter and nature consultant. She's won the Sunday Times Volvo Visionaries Award (2019), been named one of the UK's '50 New Radicals' by The Observer/Nesta (2018), and received an Honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of the West of England for her environmental work. She won the Sheila McKechnie Award for Environmental Justice in 2017 and was Bristol 24/7's Woman of the Year in 2018.

Her keynote talks include green living topics such as ‘How to Save the World for Free’ (engaging teams with sustainability goals) – which can be focused on particular themes such as biodiversity, green living or plastic pollution, and ‘Under the Oak: how nature nourishes hearts, minds and organisations’ which shows how reconnecting with nature unlocks productivity, wellbeing and creativity in ways most organisations are missing.

Combining rigorous science with lived experience and practical frameworks with genuine transformation, Natalie’s engaging style combines humour, honesty, and hard-hitting truths, making her a sought-after voice on the environment and sustainability. As a speaker, she connects deeply with audiences, sharing practical insights and encouraging positive actions that help individuals and organisations contribute to a healthier world. With her acclaimed books and inspiring presence, Natalie motivates audiences to take tangible steps towards sustainability, creating a legacy of environmental stewardship and a vision for a thriving planet for generations to come.
