Jane is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society; a four-time winner of the Royal Television Society Award and Emmy nominee.

Reporting on the death of Osama bin Laden and the people’s revolution in Egypt which toppled President Mubarak and inspired uprisings across the Middle East, as well as covering Iran’s disputed election, the Green Movement and human rights abuses in the Islamic Republic, Jane has been at the forefront of countless historical event.

Jane was one of the first journalists to identify and warn of the threat from al Qaeda years before 9/11. She has travelled extensively in Africa, the Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Far East charting the rise of Osama bin Laden’s militant Islamic movement and has written extensively on it. Jane has become a sought-after international commentator on terrorism appearing on ABC, CNN, Fox and many European networks.
