Samantha was one of the first journalists from the UK to cover the post 9/11 events on the ground in New York, and was also on the scene of the Edgware Road bombing on 7/7 within minutes.
Samantha’s passion for journalism was born while writing for the Liverpool University student newspaper. She completed a prestigious postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism at City University, and earned her stripes as a local radio reporter in the North of England, then becoming a TV news producer and eventually a reporter and presenter.
As well as presenting and live reporting, Samantha also hosts topical debates with leading experts in their fields. Being a mother of three, Samantha can adeptly discuss how to juggle the work-life balance and she also gives talks on how to stay motivated when climbing the career ladder.
