There have been positive signals from the business community that investment continues to be made within the learning and development of their employees during these socially distanced times.
But, as our MD Nick Gold argues in his latest video, the priority for employees must be to develop their employees emotional intelligence so they can thrive during this global recession. By placing the focus on emotional intelligence, or ‘soft skills’ as they are otherwise know, we will create stronger communication lines between employees, teams and managers, and crucially build resilience as the winds of the recession blow through 2021.
