David G.W. Birch is a globally recognised author, advisor and commentator on digital financial services. He leads 15Mb Ltd, his specialist advisory practice, and is Global Ambassador for Consult Hyperion, the secure electronic transactions consultancy he co-founded. He also serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Digiseq Ltd, Ambassador for Jersey for Fintech, sits on the Governing Council of the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation, and holds a number of board-level advisory roles.

With a background in consulting across Europe, North America and the Far East, Dave has spent his career at the forefront of payments, digital identity and financial innovation. A former Visiting Professor at the University of Surrey Business School, he studied Physics at the University of Southampton.
