Bertalan Mesko, MD, PhD is a medical futurist who graduated from the University of Debrecen, Medical School and Health Science center with Weszpremy Award as a medical doctor in 2009 and finished PhD in the field of clinical genomics focusing on the pharmacogenomic applications of autoimmune conditions in 2012 with summa cum laude.

He is the author of the Social Media in Clinical Practice handbook; as well as the multiple award-winning medical blog, Scienceroll.com; and the founder and lecturer of the Social Media in Medicine online and offline university course which is the first of its kind worldwide.
