Eleanor Winton: Keynote & Conference Speakers
Eleanor is the Director of Foresightfully, a strategy, innovation and disruption consultancy. She is the former head of KPMG's Future Institute, and works directly with boards and executive teams helping them to uncover where, how and why they and their markets are being disrupted - and what they should do about it.
Eleanor is an experienced and skilled consultant, facilitator and public speaker whose specialism is in bringing to life the impact of the fast changing global environment for businesses across all sectors. Her work is focused on helping clients to integrate foresightful thinking into their business strategy and culture.
Prior to founding Foresightfully, Eleanor was a Director at KPMG in the UK where she worked as a consultant for 10 years. Eleanor started her KPMG career in the firm’s Forensic team, investigating fraud and money laundering in the financial sector. She was later selected to join the newly formed innovation team on the basis of her innovative approach to addressing complex client problems.
Over the following six years Eleanor progressed to Director and Head of the KPMG Future Institute, working with the Boards and Executive Teams of some of the UK’s largest organisations to discover how they could be disrupted and what they should do about it. She also worked internally with KPMG’s senior partners to develop thought leadership and propositions to keep pace with the fast moving external market.
Since setting up Foresightfully Ltd, Eleanor has continued to work with the Boards and Executive teams of organisations across multiple sectors. She has developed a strong reputation in the market for her high energy and highly engaging consulting style.
Eleanor has a Bachelors Degree in Scots Law from the University of Glasgow and a Masters degree in International Law from the University of Edinburgh .
Whilst studying, Eleanor’s passion for public speaking and debate led her to the final of the World Universities Debating Championships in Sydney 2001. Eleanor was then selected to represent the UK on the prestigious ESU USA Debating Tour, for which two outstanding British student debaters are chosen each year. Notable tour alumni include Edward Heath, Tony Benn and Michael Foot.
