Helena Langdon helps organisations answer a simple but often overlooked question. How do you talk to people online in a way that feels genuinely human and actually gets noticed? Her work shows that creativity does not come from expensive campaigns or perfect strategy, but from brave ideas, clear thinking and a willingness to sound like a real person.
Helena spent seven years running the digital channels for innocent drinks, where she helped grow the brand’s online following from a few hundred thousand to more than two million people.
During that time, she did everything from writing tweets on her commute to producing campaigns across digital, outdoor and television, as well as handling customer service ranging from the heartfelt to the completely ridiculous. She is also responsible for creating the much loved Dogs At Polling Stations hashtag, which may or may not be the highlight of her career.
Now a freelance writer and comedian, Helena works with brands including Red Bull, BrewDog and Nandos, charities such as the RSPB, and a range of Radio 4 comedy programmes including The Now Show and The News Quiz. Her work blends comedy writing with brand storytelling, helping organisations communicate with warmth, wit and clarity.
In her talks, Helena shares entertaining examples from her career to show that anyone can have great ideas. She explains how talking openly, building genuine community and being brave enough to put ideas into the world can lead to creative success, even with little or no budget. She leaves audiences laughing, reassured and ready to be bolder in how they communicate.
