Jason founded Bloomsbury Wealth Management and was recognised by Citywire as one of the UK’s top 100 financial advisers. He is a critically acclaimed author and columnist for The Financial Times. He uses his expertise to educate 4 million UK employees as Head of Financial Education at Salary Finance, the workplace financial wellbeing provider.

Jason joined the financial services sector in 1990 and is a Chartered Fellow of both the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and the Personal Finance Society.

In 1998 he founded Bloomsbury Wealth Management and built this to become a highly respected and successful wealth advice ‘boutique’, which has been regularly named as among the Top 25 financial advisory firms by Private Client Practitioner magazine. In 2012 he was recognised by Citywire as one of the UK’s top 100 financial advisers.

In 2015 he sold his stake in Bloomsbury, to enable him to focus entirely on speaking and writing about financial and personal wellbeing, as well as being an angel investor to various innovative financial technology start-up businesses.

Jason is author of editions 1 (2011) and 2 (2014) of The Financial Times Guide to Wealth Management: How to plan, invest and protect your financial assets and co-author (with Dr Lien Luu CFP, Jonquil Lowe and Antony Bryne CFP) of Essential Personal Finance – A practical guide for students (2017).

His first self-development book – Squeezing the Orange: Simple ways to live a full life– was published in summer 2017. Money Moments: Simple steps to financial well-being– was published in November 2017. His latest book (with Jonquil Lowe and Lien Luu) - Essential Personal Finance: A practical guide for employees - was published in January 2019.

Jason is a columnist for The Financial Times, where as ‘The Wealthman’, he writes about personal finance related issues. He also provides expert comment on personal finance to the BBC and Sky and a range of other publications, media and websites.

He is Head of Financial Education at Salary Finance, the workplace financial wellbeing provider. He also provide strategic advice to a number of high growth focused, innovative retail finance services businesses.
