Idris Elba
British actor, rapper, singer, DJ and National Treasure, Idris Elba is an extraordinary individual who has appeared in numerous blockbuster films and hit television shows.
A star of the Marvel Universe, Idris is not only a star of the screen. His music and DJ careers have soared and he’s collaborated with the likes of Stormzy and Wiley, along with performing at hit international music festivals including Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Tomorrowland and Creamfields.
Alongside his incredibly successful media career, Idris has collaborated with UK Parliament to eradicate Ebola from West Africa, and in 2016 he addressed the UK Parliament in regard to the lack of diversity on screen, speaking about the lack of diversity regarding race, gender and sexuality.
He hosted The Best FIFA Football Awards 2017, taking a selfie with ‘the best team in the world’ which went viral on social media. The Discovery Channel produced a documentary that followed his twelve-month kickboxing and mixed martial arts training, Idris has also featured in numerous advertisements for Sky between 2013-2019. He also collaborated with British fashion label Superdry in 2015 on his own line with the brand. Not to mention he was also named Essence’s annual 2013 Sexiest Man of the Year!
