He aims to demystify the buzzwords and hypes of the day and to develop custom-made solutions that can be deployed with instant results: his interventions are short, intense, and have long-lasting impact.
His career began as Sales Manager at Desso Belgium before moving on to direct competitor Domo. Here, as Business Unit Director and Member of the Board of Directors, Rik revitalized the Contract Flooring Division by expanding globally and launching the architectural high-end brand Modulys.
In 2010, Rik joined Belgian multimedia group Think Media as Strategic Director, developing the first steps in multichannel Strategy and the optimization of big data.
He joined his business partner, Peter Hinssen, at nexxworks in 2015, in a shared aim to demonstrate that digital is only the beginning of a massive shift.
An inspiring coach, Rik has helped numerous companies in Belgium and the Netherlands; his clients range from small family-owned companies to corporate internationals. Since 2013, he has worked closely with Microsoft’s marketing, sales and management teams.
He also teaches customer-centric strategy at the esteemed Beeckestijn Business School in The Netherlands.
